CS 313E- Elements of Software Design: this course is extremely important and also may be time-consuming depending on your programming experience. As soon as you finish CS 303E or CS 312, you'll be able to take some but not all upper division Elements courses (CS 324E- Elements of Graphics and Visualization and CS 327E- Elements of Databases will be available to you). You'll be able to learn Java and the very basics of programming and learning Python for CS 313E isn't too difficult if you take the time to learn it as soon as CS 313E begins. CS 303E- Elements of Computers/Programming: if this course fills up too quickly, I would recommend also getting into the waitlist for CS 312, which is pretty much available during Spring. I'm hoping I can make a sort of guide to help you and other students know what's in each course, alternatives that may be helpful, and what to do if you're in a queue to join:
